Camp Suwannee
Located on the expansive grounds of the Advent Christian Village is Camp Suwannee. Situated on the lovely high bands of the Suwannee River, the rustic facilities are shaded by ancient oaks and hardwood trees. Camp Suwannee, a year-round camping program, has a capacity for 165 children and adults.
Facilities include four air-conditioned lodges, a dining room, an all-purpose building, and access to an outdoor swimming pool, ball fields, primitive tenting sites, canoeing and other amenities of the Village. Camp Suwannee hosts church camps throughout the summer.
Additionally, Camp Suwannee hosts Adventure Camp, a ministry for foster children and children who are being raised by their grandparents. Another successful ministry is Leadership Camp, a challenging program that prepares high school students for life as well-
rounded, ethical leaders.
